Rising Tide originated in 2000 as DSP Wireless Inc. As the nature of our work evolved to more than DSP designs for communication systems, the name of the company was changed to Rising Tide.

Rising Tide is located northwest of Boston, MA.

What we do
At Rising Tide, we focus on Electronic Product prototype development. We are embedded system architects that truly enjoy the process of taking a concept and designing an optimized product. From the earliest stages of product concept, we rapidly design, develop and deliver complete functional hardware and software prototypes.

Who we are
We are agile principal design engineers. We have been designing DSP and GPP systems for over 17 years.

Customer Interface
Our diverse backgrounds include years spent working at or with applied research consulting firms and consumer electronics manufacturers. We know how to work with senior management, scientists and advanced researchers. We are comfortable and have experience working with hardware and software engineers, technicians, as well as with marketing and sales groups.

Critical Component Selection Expertise
We practice the multivariate analysis needed to make qualified judgments and tradeoffs between development risk, technical performance, reliability, component cost/availability, manufacturing process, schedule, budget, hardware/software tradeoff, or in-house skill level.

Usually these forces tug a design in different directions. We are skilled at identifying potential conflicts and work proactively to avoid obstacles. We have a lot of experience on many projects and can usually see and correct problems before they impact the project.
